The Transitional Headband

The headband made for the transition between seasons. Wear it over your ball cap when you need protection from the sun and the chilly wind or wear it on it’s own when you want to protect your ears but don’t want to get too hot. Inspired by Cloimh.

Sizes: Small (20-21 in), Medium (21.5-22.5 in), Large (23-24 in)

Gauge: 14 sts and 22 rows = 4” x 4” in stockinette st worked flat on US size 9 (5.5 mm) needles

White sample: De Rerum Natura Cyrano held with Drops Kid Silk (75 yards, 80 yards, 85 yards), one skein of each for all sizesGrey sample: Cascade 220 Grande held with Drops Kid SilkOR any heavy worsted or aran weight yarn held with any silk mohair yarn or held alone
